  2. SYMPTOMS include a sudden fever (102 to 104 F.), abdominal distress, muscle
  3. pains in legs, neck and back, nausea, vomiting, prostration, a flushed face
  4. and restlessness and may include vomiting of blood and jaundice.
  5. CAUSES. Transmitted by mosquito bites.
  6. TREATMENT. Medication for nausea, vomiting and headache. Bed rest, fluid
  7.  replacement. Nursing care. Blood transfusion may be required.
